Get ready for the long weekend with QueensEvents.ca! From Yoga to WWE wrestling, there’s something for everyone to take part in. Check out what’s going down in the community this weekend – there’s more than 50 events you can explore!
9am – Market Day
12:30pm – Music in the Park: Come out and enjoy FREE live music from a variety of genres at Confederation Park. At 7:00pm jam out to country music.
12:30pm – Big Band Music Lunch Cruise: Join Chris Alfano and his band bring big band music to the Island Star for a lunch cruise (or dinner cruise at 6:30pm)
4:00pm – Unit 115 Exhibition Opening: Check out the vibrant acrylic pantings of Vera Donefer and meet her in person!
5:00pm – Whisky Tasting: Join whisky sommelier, Sylvain Bouffard of “Just a Wee Dram,” as he guides your senses through whisky tasting and food pairing.
6:00pm – FortNight @ Pump House: Come relive your childhood at the Pump House and immerse yourself in a fort building challenge!
6:00pm – Camp Songs with Fiddle Earth: Visit the Maclachlan Woodworking Museum, off highway 2, for music by local musicians and s’mores!
6:30pm – Backyard BBQ & Band Series: Enjoy a live performance from The Campfire Liars Club with grilled food.
7:30pm – SPAMALOT: Watch a hilarious musical comedy that brings Monty Python sketch to the stage. Taking place Thursday-Saturday at the Domino Theatre near West Campus.
8:00pm – Finding Dory @ Movies in the Square: Watch Finding Dory at Springer Market Square downtown for FREE. Bring a chair and blanket!
9:00pm – Karaoke @ Tir Nan Og (19+): FREE cover.
9:00pm – Grad Club Trivia (19+): Grab a pint and test your trivia knowledge.
10:00pm – Comedy Night @ The Mansion (19+): Have a drink and try and control yourself watching live comedy. FREE!
12:00pm – Sweet Home Music Festival: A 3-day music festival for all the country fans in South Eastern Ontario.
5:00pm – Happy Hour Live Music @ Fort Henry Battery Bistro: Enjoy a succulent waterfront bistro and free concert at Fort Henry.
6:00pm – The Stone City Music Fest @ Musiikki Cafe & @ The Mansion (all ages): Come to a weekend long music festival in Kingston celebrating artists in Ontario with both electric and acoustic performances. Taking place Friday-Saturday. Friday features an acoustic show. Saturday and Sunday feature electric and acoustic shows.
7:00pm – The Kick and Push Festival 2017: Check out one of Kingston newest summer attractions. Production companies from The Grand Theatre are teaming up to bring you live shows! Taking place Friday-Monday. Friday-Mon shows feature, Jesse Lavercombe’s, ‘Love Me Forever, Billy H Tender’. Sunday and Monday will display, Adam Lazarus’, ‘Daughter’.
8:00pm – FREE Rockin’ the Square: Platinum Blonde and Spoons: Join two classic Canadian bands for a free mid-summer dance party at Springer Market Square.

11:00am – Kingston’s Strongest Man & Woman: Ironclad Kingstonians compete to see who is the strongest in a series of challenges. Proceeds go towards Kids with Cancer.
11:00am – Kingston Latino Community BBQ: Celebrate the community with a BBQ, games, food, dancing and festivities for the whole family.
11:00am – Tommy’s 7th Annual Food Bank Bike Wash: Help raise money for the Partners in Mission Food Bank, and get your motorcycle cleaned!
