7PM-10PM – Live Jazz Piano @ RCHA Club (19+) – no cover & open to the public

7PM – Sunset Ceremony with Fireworks @ RMC – free, family-friendly

7PM – Awesome Kingston Pitch Party @ The Sanctuary – free

8PM-11PM – Singer-songwriter @ Musiikki Cafe – by donation, all ages

9PM-1AM – Electric-Jazz Trio + 7-piece Soul band @ The Mansion (19+) – $15 advanced, $20 door ($10 with student ID)

10:30PM-2AM – STAGE RAGE @ Stages Nightclub (19+) – $2.25 drinks until midnight

Friday, May 17th

10AM-2PM Climate Strike at Kingston City Hall – All welcome. Bring your signs and your ideas.

5PM-8PM LGBTQ Softball Registration @ The Grad Club – drop-in.

7:30PM-10PM Glow in the Dark Bike Ride – Leisurely glow-in-the-dark bike ride around downtown – join in anywhere along the route! RSVP & invite friends!

8:30PM-11PM Nolan Hubbard + Cinzia & the Eclipse (Soul/Folk) @ The Mansion (19+) – $5 at the door.

8PM-11PM Saffron A + Wax Mannequin @ Musiikki Cafe (all ages) – singer-songwriter that plays the octave mandolin and mandocello. Admission by donation to band/buy a drink.

9PM-11:30PM 7-piece Blues Band @ RCHA Club (19+) – Tickets $10 cash & open to the public, hosted by Kingston Blues Society.

10PM-2AM Lotus Shaker @ The Merchant (19+) – free cover. Singer’s voice is like Amy Winehouse and Adele combined! Performing classic rock & metal covers.

Saturday, May 18th

9AM-3PM Lemoine Point Native Plant Sale – *located in the West End.

9:45AM-5PM Opening Weekend at Fort Henry – Bring on the boom!

10AM-5PM FREE Admission @ Pump House Museum – learn about trains & the history of Kingston!

1PM-3PM DDay75 – Journey across Canada @ VIA Rail Kingston – Combat boots—a symbol of the Canadians who left their hometowns to travel to Halifax before going overseas to serve—will be placed on the train in Kingston.

3PM-6:15PM The Brewer’s Folly @ Spearhead Brewery – Co-hosted by Sherlock’s Escapes. $25 includes 45-min brewery tour.

8:30PM-10:30PM Live music cafe fundraiser for the homeless @ The Embassy (all ages) – Tickets are $5 and include a tea/coffee.

9PM-11:30PM British Invasion @ RCHA Club (19+) Live band playing all your favourites: Beatles, Kinks, Stones. Tickets $10, open to the public.

9PM Beers for Queers Open Mic @ Monte’s (19+) – Social event for LGBT community and allies, in the Monte’s room of the Tir Nan Og. Free.

9:30PM-1AM Punk rock/metal show @ The Mansion (19+) – $5 or pay what you can at the door.

Sunday, May 19th

9AM-2PM Memorial Centre Farmers’ MarketWhere the farmers you meet grow the food you eat. Everything produced within 100km of Kingston. Hot foods, live music & arts activities!

12PM-6PM Climb by donation @ Kingston Bouldering Co-op – Raising money for “Climb Malawi” – a group started by a Canadian working in Malawi, Africa, to help them build an inclusive climbing facility.

1PM-9:30PM Victoria Day City Celebrations @ Lake Ontario Park – Live music by the water, fun & games for all ages – interactive shows, immersive puzzles, exciting inflatables, mini paddle boats, and an explosive AC/DC tribute. Free admission! Limited parking – take public transit if you can!

2PM-3:30PM Sharon & Bram Farewell Tour – See the “Skinnamarink” children’s entertainers live on stage for the very last time! Tickets: $38-$50 – buy online!

3PM-5PM LIVE Country Music @ The Mansion (all ages)The Honkey Tonk Heroes (Clem Chesterfield, Luther Wright & Rusty Ford) will be on stage (or the patio, weather permitting)! No cover.

3PM-5PM Sunday Afternoons with Steph @ Musiikki Cafe (all ages) – If you like Joni Mitchell or Aerosmith, don’t miss this! By donation.

6PM-8PM FREE Weekly Swing Dance Lesson @ Gazebo in Macdonald Park (near KGH) – If you’ve never danced before, now’s the time to start!

9:30PM Victoria Day Fireworks @ Lake Ontario Park – Big fireworks show on the lake! Arrive before sunset to find a spot by the water. Bring a chair & blankets + don’t forget the bug spray!

Monday, May 20th

8PM-11PM Live Jazz @ Musiikki Cafe (all ages) – Admission by donation/buy a drink first to support local musicians!

8PM-10PM Meal & Discussion “Anti-Capitalist Muslims Iftar” – free & family-friendly.
