Queen’s Expressions is a club dedicated to providing art classes for students at Queen’s and Kingston locals at an affordable price. Our goal is to spread the importance of fine arts in our community and provide a calm and relaxing environment for stressful times. – Managing activity timeline: events, tasks and deliverables
– Organizing executive meetings and notes
– Managing Expressions’ email; notifications and responding to inquiries
– Strong writing skills, flexible schedule, diligent Art Instructors (Paid):
– Create fun and informative lesson plan for students
– Proficient in the media they are teaching
– Setting up for classes
– Good time management skills, approachable, patient, deligent
– Designing promotional materials (posters, banners, pamphlets, cards, t-shirts)
– Creative design and marketing skills
– Efficient, detail-oriented, and goal-oriented
– Experienced with Photoshop or other editing software

– Managing all club budgets and balance sheets
– Bi-weekly inventory checks
– Working with club chairs to write grant reports and budgets for events and collaborations

The Juvenis Festival is looking for volunteers ages 13-30 to help run festival events and spread the word about Kingston’s first ever youth arts festival, from Saturday April 29, 2017 to Sunday May 7, 2017!
All events are scheduled to take place after school hours into the evenings on weekdays. Weekend days will have programming that runs between 10:30am and the evening.
We are looking for volunteers to help with workshops, to be ushers at performances, to help set-up at events, and to provide general information to the public about our festival.
