1. Take a Yoga Break

Sunday Morning Yoga – Every Sunday @ 9:30am-10:30am – by donation
Every Sunday morning, Lululemon offers a by-donation yoga class inside their store on Princess. The class is open to all levels, just bring your own yoga mat – or borrow one if you’re a beginner!
Yoga in Residences – Every Tuesday & Thursday @ 7pm-8pm – FREE
If you’re a first year living in residence, take advantage of this free yoga class, no experience necessary! Mats are provided, just bring a water bottle and wear something comfortable.
Fitness PLUS Classes @ ARC – Every week, various times – FREE Did you know that you get 10 free Fitness PLUS classes every week with your ARC Membership? Before attending the first class, just sign the waiver form at Customer service and get a sticker on your student card to show at the studio door. Try a variety of classes taught by experienced instructors motivated to make you SWEAT!

FREE Protein Giveaway @ DrugSmart Pharmacy – Monday, Mar. 5 @ 12pm–2pm – FREE Stop by DrugSmart in the ARC on Monday at lunchtime to get free samples protein cookies and protein cake bites, plus compete for prizes!
Memorial Centre Farmers’ Market – Every Sunday @ 10am-2pm – FREE
Shop fresh produce, farm sum, Ukrainian food, wine, crafts and gifts from within 100km of Kingston!
Queen’s Farmers’ Market – Every Wednesday @ 10am-4pm – FREE Shop from local farms and small businesses on-campus every Wednesday! Outside at University & Union, weather permitting, otherwise it’s inside the JDUC.
Book an appointment with Jessica Bertrand, the on-campus Dietician – FREE Jessica is excited to share her passion of food and nutrition with staff and students here at Queen’s University. As a recent graduate, she knows first-hand the barriers of eating well while studying. Jessica’s confidential nutrition appointments are available to all Queen’s students, free of charge.
4. Walk/Run for a Good Cause!
The Secret Marathon 3K – Wednesday, Mar. 7 @ 6:30pm-7:30pm – FREE Held on the eve of International Women’s Day, this race celebrates our right to be free to run. Come together in solidarity to support the right of all humans to walk or run, free of fear, in their community.
Queen’s Relay for Life – Friday, Mar. 9 @ 7pm-7am Saturday – minimum $50 fundraising Put a team together for this 12-hour overnight non-competitive relay in the ARC to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society!
Queen’s for OOCH 5K Run – Sunday, Mar. 25 @ 10am – minimum $30 fundraising
Kick-start your spring training while raising money for kids affected by cancer!
Le Nordik Spa Day Trip – Sunday, Mar. 18 @ 6:45am–8:30pm – $127-$142 Join Samatva Yoga for a 100% me-time trip – the most relaxing way to treat yourself. You won’t regret it!
6. Practice Mindfulness!
Mindfulness for Undergrads – Every Wednesday @ 12pm-1pm – FREE Drop-in as your schedule permits for this weekly practice to improve your ability to cope with difficulties in your day-to-day life! Regular attendance and practice are recommended to get maximum benefits!
CRCA Forest Therapy Walk – Saturday, Mar. 24 @ 3:30pm–6:30pm – $20 Reconnect with nature by practicing mindfulness on this guided walk through the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area.
