CARRM (The Canadian Association of Regenerative Medicine) at Queen’s

An organization that raises money and promotes awareness for stem-cell research initiatives. We will be hosting multiple seminars featuring speakers who specialize in stem cell research to educate our community on recent advances in research. General members will have access to exclusive networking opportunities at our events and are invited to attend our monthly general member presentations on regenerative medicine research. AKCSE Queen’s

Through AKCSE Queen’s, science, engineering, and nursing students will be able to maximize their career potential. We will be assisting professional development in students interested in sciences, engineering, and nursing, by providing information and resources such as scholarships and mentorship opportunities. We will also help bridge the gap between students and professionals in diverse fields (including but not limited to medicine, science research, mathematics, global health – in Korea and Canada) through various networking events.

World Vision: Queen’s

Queen’s Solar Design Team (QSDT)

The Queen’s Solar Design Team is proud to have a rich history in innovation and design through its origins as the Queen’s Solar Vehicle Team (QSVT). The team designed and built a total of 11 solar vehicles, setting numerous records, including a Guinness World Record for the longest journey in a solar vehicle in 2000.

Queen’s Startup Summit

Queen’s Dance Club

Are you a first year student that’s passionate about dance and interested in getting more involved at Queen’s? If so, apply to be a Frosh Representative for Queen’s Dance Club!

Queen’s Dance Club (QDC) is Canada’s largest student-run recreational club, and the most inclusive dance environment on campus. In addition to providing dance classes for Queen’s students, we also plan social events, organize outreach initiatives and work towards two final performances at the end of each academic semester.

As a frosh rep for QDC, you will be a member of our executive team. You will work alongside another first year student and rotate through different executive positions, assisting them in their roles.

QDC Gotta Dance! Team

The Gotta Dance! program allows QDC members to teach dance workshops in local schools and community organizations. Volunteers will lead bi-weekly dance workshops alongside another member of the team. We are looking for volunteers who embody QDC values, which include inclusivity, positivity and a passion for dance.

Queen’s Hyperloop Design Team

Want to be a part of a meaningful design project, and learn sales skills for an innovative technology?

The Queen’s Hyperloop Design Team is at the forefront of pushing the boundaries for new forms of transportation. The Hyperloop team is competing in the Hyperloop competition held by SpaceX.

We will be hosting an information session on Monday, Sept. 18 from 7:30pm-9pm in Goodes Hall rm. 118 to answer questions about the Exec, roles, and other helpful information.
