QCSC Presents: The Undergraduate Case Competition!
APPLICATIONS ARE DUE SUNDAY MARCH 19TH
The Queen’s Case Study Club is proud to announce that applications for its first annual Undergraduate Case Competition are now open. The competition is a one day event that will take place on Tuesday April 4th. It will include cases from two companies from two very different industries.
The first case of this conference is being presented by Yroo. Yroo is a Dublin based E-Commerce startup with offices in Toronto. Yroo has just received $11 million dollars of funding in August 2016. They’re a fast growing company competing with industry giants like Amazon and Alibaba. Yroo connects over 7,000 merchants and 100 million products to consumers across 35 different countries. They’re coming to Queen’s University and partnering with the Queen’s Case Study Club to present their first ever case.
The second company is a little closer to campus. That’s right, Ale House & Canteen is partnering with QCSC to create a personalized case that only the students of Queen’s University are equipped to tackle. Ale House is no doubt one of the most successful service based companies in Kingston and an integral part of the Queen’s student community. They’ve proposed a challenging and creative case for the competition and are hoping to see some innovative and applicable solutions being presented at the conference.
This is not your average case competition.
