“The Rising Tide of Compelled Speech in Canada”

Thanks to the initiative and support of Greg Piasetzki, Law ’80, a new Liberty Lecture series at Queen’s Law will be launched in March. The inaugural Liberty Lecture is entitled The Rising Tide of Compelled Speech in Canada, and will feature Jordan Peterson, Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto, along with Bruce Pardy, Professor of Law at Queen’s University. The lecture will take place on Monday March 5, 2018 at 4: 30 pm at Grant Hall. Admission is free but registration is required and seats are limited. You can register by clicking on this link:


Registration is first-come, first-served. This lecture will be open to the Queen’s campus and the public, but law students are the first to be notified so that they may get early opportunity to register. You will be asked to show photo ID (such as your student card) at the door.
