Navigating Trudeau’s Canada: a Lunchtime Chat

Wednesday, September 13th @ 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

In light of Canada 150, Levana Gender Advocacy Centre is starting a series of lunchtime chats titled Navigating Trudeau’s Canada to provide an oppourtunity to engage in conversations that work to dismantle toxic ideas of Canadian exceptionalism.

Our first chat will be Navigating Trudeau’s Canada: Islamaphobia and Anti-Blackness. This will be a discussion about the intersection of anti-Islamic rhetoric/policies anti-blackness and colourism.

Lunch and light refreshments will be provided!

This event is located in the John Orr 344 Room, in the John Deutsch University Centre. Anyone is welcome to come, regardless or whether they are affliated with Queens or not.

Please contact us by posting on this event page, or by messaging our page, or by sending an email, or by carrier pigeon, if you have any questions — all questions are welcomed.
