Kingston VR/AR – Virtual & Augmented Reality Meetup

Join us for a 3D modelling workshop!

This month features the workshop “Creating 3D Content for Facebook”, hosted by Julie Driver and Graeme Fotheringham. The aim for the evening is to learn how to navigate Blender, create a simple 3D model using a primitive, then convert it to glTF format, ready to post to Facebook. This workshop is suitable for people who have not used Blender before.

About the Hosts:

Graeme Fotheringham is a Game Artist/Creative Streamer for Oddly Made Games


Attendees must:

  1. Bring a laptop installed with Blender (version 2.78 or higher). Download from https://www.blender.org/
  2. Download this converter tool and save it to your desktophttps://github.com/Kupoman/blendergltf/archive/master.zip
    We will install it during the workshop.

Please arrive between 7 and 7:15 PM to set up your work area. The workshop will start promptly at 7:15 PM.
