Inside Agnes Music & Art

Sunday, January 14th @ 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

The first session of the INSIDE AGNES series in 2018 features the sounds of The Waterfront Trio and a presentation by Jacquelyn N. Coutre, Bader Curator and Researcher of European Art. Join us in the Etherington House at 2 pm on Sunday 14 January.

For series information, see:

The Waterfront Trio features cellist Mara Shaw, pianist Inka Brockhausen and flutist Alan Grant. They’ll present a repertoire of Bach and Handel from the Baroque period, and the Classical music of Mozart and Schubert, as well as selections from 20th-century composers Poulenc, Monti and Gossec. Tea follows.

Jacquelyn Coutre will speak at 3 pm in the Bader Gallery about Albrecht DΓΌrer’s beautiful 1504 engraving of Adam and Eve, on loan from the National Gallery of Canada. Offering rich commentary on the ideals of art and humankind, this print is featured with paintings from The Bader Collection in the exhibition, “The Powers of Women.” See:
