FREE Clay Making Workshop

For teens and adults/no art experience required

Get your hands on some clay and celebrate by helping to build Kingston’s Aqua Viva community art project! Join local sculptor, Andy Berg, as she leads a hands-on clay-making workshop with the Kingston community to create a legacy wall sculpture to celebrate and honour our iconic Great Lakes. Participants will work with Andy to add special community elements in clay for the shallow relief wall sculpture entitled Aqua Viva, which will be unveiled at the Tett Centre in late summer as part of the Ontario sesquicentennial celebrations. 

Wednesday June 28 sign up times:

  • 11am – 1pm,
  • 2pm – 4pm
  • or  5pm– 7 pm.

Each session will include: ~visualization process ~learning about gathered shoreline objects ~group brainstorming~creating a unique clay element to be included in the Aqua Viva wall work.
