Manifesto is our “Staff Pic” of the month at The Screening Room; it’s a high-risk, high-concept series of 13 vignettes, all starring Cate Blanchett reading/performing a different art manifesto in character. Simultaneously an satire of and indulgence in intellectual grandeousity, this one-of-a-kind film plays one night only on Monday July 17 at 7pm.

From anchorwoman to homeless man, from Pop Art to Dogma 95, a chameleonic Blanchett gives a tour-de-force performance as she transforms herself like never before. Rosefeldt weaves together history’s most impassioned artistic statements in this stunning and contemporary call to action.
