Cross-Country Skiing Lessons

If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to cross-country ski, or want a refresher course to improve your skills, the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority is hosting Cross-Country Ski Lessons on Saturdays, from Jan. 6 through to Feb. 24 (weather and conditions permitting) at the Outdoor Centre at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area.
The cost is $20 per person, per session (not including gate admission fee), and the group lessons are one hour in length. Lesson times are 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Participants can register in advance at www.crca.ca/
Note: The Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area is located on Division Street just two kilometres north of Highway 401. Entry fees are: $5.50 per person for adults and children over 12, and $3 per person for children 12 and under, to a maximum fee of $14 per car. Annual passes are available for $80 per year.
