Coldest Night of the Year Walk
Saturday, February 25th @ 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
It’s Cold Out There! Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) is a nation-wide, team-building event that raises money for charities that work with the hungry, the hurting and the homeless.
CNOY is a chance for those of us who have been blessed with warm, dry and safe environments to get a small taste of what it’s like for those who don’t have the basics we take for granted at the statistically coldest time of the year.
Last year the event raised $60,000 for nightlight. Register to walk or donate to the 2017 walk here.
The walk begins and ends at Bethel Church (314 Johnson St.) where walkers will register, turn in the results of their fundraising efforts, and return for a warm celebration meal at the end of the walk.
Donning iconic blue toques, participants walk a 2km, 5km or 10km route through Kingston, warming up with toasty drinks at rest stops along the way.
