Join Providence Care and artist Chris Miner in the collection unveiling of photographs taken of and by patients and clients who participated in Providence Care’s first Artist-in-Residence program.
The Artist-in-Residence program provides opportunities for patients and clients to work with local artists to develop their skills and express themselves through the arts.
Brief speeches at 3:30 p.m. & 6:30 p.m.
Location: Providence Care Hospital, 752 King Street West, Founders’ Hall, Learning Centre
Directions/Parking: Enter the campus at King Street West and Portsmouth Avenue, continue straight following the signs for Patient, Client and Visitor Parking. Parking is Pay-and-Display. Accessible and reduced-mobility parking is located nearest the Main Entrance.
About the Artist-in-Residence: Chris Miner was the first Artist-in-Residence with Providence Care from November 2016 to April 2017. He is a local artist who has worked as a portraitist, art documentarian, and museum catalogue photographer.
The Artist-in-Residency program is made possible through generous donors to the Stella Corkey Endowment Fund – administered by the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation.
