Debating Union: Chancellor’s Cup

The tournament will consist of 5 rounds of British Parliamentary debate using the standard World’s speaking times of 7 minutes each. The tournament will break to Semi-Finals and will also feature a Novice Final. The style guide will be based upon the WUDC standard.

FREE “Inspiring Women; An Evening at the Isabel”

This event celebrates the achievements by women at Queen’s (this year's recipient is Queen's law professor Karla McGrath) and in the Kingston community (this year's recipient is community leader Susan Belyea) through two awards for mentoring and leadership. Featuring entertainment by Juno Award recipient Lynn Miles as well as alumna Sangeeta Shakrawar, She Sings choir, Queen's Dancers and keynote address by alumna Amma Bonsu.
